Call for Presenters
Conference Purpose & Theme
PURPOSE
The purpose of the Juvenile Court, Community and Alternative Schools Administrators of California (JCCASAC) is to support student success, create a collegial network of County Office Administrators, research and share best practices for at-promise students, encourage legislation that advocates for the learning needs of alternative education students, and to provide input and guidance to superintendents relative to the diverse needs of our student population.

Proposal Submission Details

Please align proposals with the conference theme -- Rooted in Resilience -- and include timely and meaningful content.

Breakout sessions are 50-60 minutes.

Share your expertise, lead engaging discussions, and provide takeaways.

There are no presenter registration discounts, however, if you have a student presenting there will be no fee for the student.

Proposals are decided by the conference committee and the JCCASAC Board.

There will be a projector for the breakout room, screen, and tables. Please bring your device for presenting and any additional audiovisual equipment needed, including your adapters.

Handouts and Materials: Presenters are responsible for their own copies and for uploading all necessary materials.

Vendors/Sponsors can only do a breakout session if they are working with a COE program and present together.
Submit a Keynote Speaker Proposal
The 2027 conference theme, Rooted in Resilience: Cultivating Hope, Connection, and Belonging, reflects the work our members do every day with young people who have often experienced significant challenges, disruption, and disconnection from traditional educational settings.
We are seeking keynote speakers who can connect authentically with this audience, inspire and re-energize attendees, and leave them with ideas, perspectives, or strategies they can carry back to the students, schools, and communities they serve.
